COURSES
Rhodes University Courses Offered
The Rhodes scholarship covers Oxford University course fees and also provides an annual stipend. For the 2024/25 academic year, the stipend is £19,800 per annum (£1,650 per month) for living expenses, though it does not support dependents of partners.
This scholarship duration depends on the degree, e.g., up to three years for a DPhil (PhD). Post-selection, the Rhodes Trust also covers: Oxford application fees, student visa and healthcare surcharge costs, and two economy flights to/from the UK.
Scholars receive a settling-in allowance upon arrival, and those continuing to a second course get visa renewal and health fee care support.
